Estonia is becoming ever better connected with its European neighbours. As mentioned in the preceding article, Air Baltic launches a summer-season air service from Riga direct to the Estonian island of Saaremaa this month. Tallinn secures direct flights from Vienna with Estonian Airways from June 2007, and services on KLM's existing Amsterdam to Tallinn air route will double.

This spring has also seen the welcome return of the direct Tallinn to St Petersburg train service.
